Sorry folks, it’s been awhile, I know. My camera died just in time for me to receive a spanking new camera for my birthday in July, courtesy of my hubby who thankfully understands that not every girl lusts after diamonds, and some of us want practical gifts. Before I get into my post, let me just take a minute to gush about MY FREAKING AWESOME NEW CAMERA. Seriously, it takes INCREDIBLE photos. In fact, I’m thinking of redoing all my swatches and stuff, so that the photo quality would be better (thus making up for my woeful, sporadic updates).
Okay, now for the whole point of this post. Darling Girl Cosmetics (DG) has at least 200 readers! I say at least because let’s face it, not everybody subscribes. Some just like to bookmark blogs (guilty as charged) so that they can access their favourites without logging into somewhere. Secondly, I concur with Susan on her pet peeve of using the word ‘follower’. DG isn’t a cult, and neither are we brainwashed. Don’t even get me started on people using the word ‘fans’ to describe their supporters like they are a famous celebrity… Ahem, I’ve digressed. So, CONGRATULATIONS Susan! May your business flourish, and may your mind never cease brimming with creativity and ingenuity!
