I try to blog as often as I can, but I do have a lot going on in my life. I have a full-time job and I’m currently very focused on building my career. Very often, last-minute projects pop up out of the blue, and the tight deadlines mean late nights and little sleep. In my free time, my family and friends take precedence over my many hobbies, resulting in these infrequent updates.
As a benchmark for comparison purposes, I have fuss-free skin. No allergies, no pre-existing skin conditions. I can use any product off the shelf, or try anything new without a patch test and it wouldn’t be a big deal. I either have extremely thick skin, or I’m lucky that way :P. So if something actually breaks me out or causes any redness or stinging, it’s probably a really shitty product with questionable ingredients. Just sayin’.
My personal opinion is just that – my own. Like it or not, I will be honest and truthful about what I review. I don’t think there is a law in Singapore about declaring whether reviewed stuff are free or not, but integrity matters a lot to me, so I’ll declare it regardless. It won’t make a difference though. I won’t rave about a subpar product just because it was free.
